Winnipeg and Lakehead were tied for the conference going into the final weekend of the season. Playing at home, the Wesmenettes swept Lakehead 72-55 and 58-53 in overtime to capture the regular season title. In the final game, Darlene Bonney scored 16 and Angie Johnson 15 to pace Winnipeg. No postseason playoffs are held.
