        In the playoffs (a best of 3 final, no semis), Victoria defeated Calgary 73-52; 83-60 (2g-0).

        In game one, Victoria defeated Calgary 73-52 despite trailing 31-28 at half. Luanne Hebb led Victoria with 21. Sandy Lewis added 11, Leslie Godfrey 10, Shelly Godfrey 10, Tracie McAra 6, Jane Boe 6, Sue Shaw 4, Janine Prince 2, Cindy Smith 2 and Donna Digby 1, while Jamie Mackie and Shawnee Harle were scoreless. Janis Paskevich paced Calgary with 21. Julie Hendrix added 13, Linda Rasmussen 6, Jane Adolphe 4, Donna Hanna 4, Jenny Woods 2 and Brenda Abbott 2, while Shelly Stephen, Wendy Thomas, Melinda Davison, Jan-Anne Kosten and Pat Slipp were scoreless.

        In game two, Victoria defeated Calgary 83-60 as Shelley Godfrey scored 22, Luanne Hebb 21, Lesley Godfrey 12, Sandy Lewis 6, Tracie McAra 5, Janine Prince 4, Cindy Smith 4, Sue Shaw 2, Jamie Mackie 2 and Jane Boe 1, while Donna Digby and Shawnee Harle were scoreless. Calgary had led 42-34 at the half but their offence collapsed in the second half when Janis Paskevich suffered an ankle injury with seven minutes to go and was removed from the court by stretcher and taken to hospital. Paskevich finished as Calgary’s high scorer with 14. Julie Hendrix added 14, Donna Hanna 10, Lindy Rasmussen 5, Jane Adolphe 4, Jan-Anne Kosten 2 and Melinda Davison 1, while Shelly Steven, Wendy Thomas, Jenny Woods and Pat Slipp were scoreless. Victoria opened the second half with a 16-0 run off full-court pressure before the Dinnies finally stemmed the bleeding. Dinosaurs coach Donna Roman told the Calgary Herald that “Janis (Paskevich) got hurt on a layup that could have cut our deficit to four points. Instead, with her lying on the floor, Victoria went downcourt and scored to go ahead by eight.”
