The Alberta Pandas win their second straight title in a tourney held in Edmonton.

Saskatchewan defeats Manitoba 47-24 as Sandy Therrien scored 13, Pat McCarthy 7, Eleanor East 6 and Marilyn Tuomaala 6. Eleanor Hawn paced the Bisonettes with 10. Joey MacDonald added 6.

Alberta clipped Manitoba 38-27. Phyllis Schmidt paced Alberta with 9. Betty-Lou Archibald added 8. Marg Baynes paced Manitoba with 8. The Bisons were coached by Mary Hendrickson, who had graduated from Alberta a year earlier.

Alberta whipped Saskatchewan 38-18, after leading 12-7, 25-11 and 33-17 at the quarters. Bev Coward paced the Pandas with 12. Bernice Coward added 8 and Phyllis Schmidt 7. Sandy Therrien paced Saskatchewan with 6. Eleanor East added 5, Sandy Wright 3, Kay Tripp 2 and Marilynne Tuomaala 2.
