Alberta emerged as the champ of a round-robin tourney held in Saskatoon.
Saskatchewan whipped Manitoba 43-22 as Arlene Raycroft scored 15, Henrietta ‘Hank’ Mackay 14, Dianne Thompson 7, Myrna Needham 2, Pearl Davis 2, Dorcas Macrae 2 and Lila Fahlman 1, while Gerry Evans and Joyce Bayston were scoreless. Joan Abercrombie paced the Bisons with 6. Joan Ross added 4, Schell 3, Mona Mackie 3, Avonne Horkoff 2, Sally Dangerfield 2 and Margaret Mitchell 2, while Ann Kelsall and Fran Struthers were scoreless.
