        Saskatchewan captures the title with a victory in the round-robin tournament.

        Saskatchewan defeated U.B.C. 43-41. UBC rallied from an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter but fell short. Pat Lawson paced the Huskiettes with 21. Lydia Yaremchuk added 9, Peggy Wilton 5, Shirley Howes 3, Cam Garnier 3 and Syl Fedoruk 2, while Jean Howes, Eleanor Cuica, Noreen Wallace and Dot Lake were scoreless. Mearnie Summers paced UBC with 16. Nora McDermott added 14, Mimi Wright 3, Joan Weeden 3, Eleanor Nyholm 3 and Shirley Lewis 2, while Betty Crooks and Jackie Shearman were scoreless.

        U.B.C. defeated Alberta 42-37. U.B.C. led 14-4, 20-12 and 31-21 at the quarters. Mearnie Summers paced the Thunderettes with 17. Crooks added 7, Lewis 7, Wright 6, Nora McDermott 4 and Weedon 1. Marie Schwarz, Kay Tanner and Doris Nufer each scored 10 to lead Alberta. Joan Arnold added 5, Mary Millar 1 and Jeanne Gauld 1.

        Saskatchewan defeated Alberta 45-16. The Huskiettes led 25-5 at the half. Lydia Yaremchuk paced Saskatchewan with 17. Pat Lawson added 15, Shirley Howes 8, Noreen Wallace 2, Eleanor Cuica 2 and Sylvia Fedoruk 1, while Peggy Wilton, Jean Howes, Camille Garnier and Dorothy Lake were scoreless. Doris Nufer paced Alberta with 6. Kay Tanner added 5, Marie Schwartz 2, Joan Arnold 1, Marion Brown 1 and Jeanne Gauld 1, while Mary Millar, Evelyn Silk, Helen Eckert, Kay McPhail, Doris Morrison and Ruby Anderson were scoreless.
