Alberta defeated Manitoba 29-25 as Doris Nufer hit a free throw and Kay Tanner two buckets as the Pandas closed out the affair with a 5-0 run. Kay Tanner led the Pandas with 13. Joan Arnold added 10, Doris Nufer 4 and Schwartz 2, while Miller, Gault, Silk, Moore, Eckert and McLeod were scoreless. Pam Weiss led the Bisonettes with 10. Doris Peto added 8, Agnew 3, Siddall 2 and Jones 2, while Loader, Gandler, Shackell and Slobinsky were scoreless.
Saskatchewan defeated Alberta 55-28 as Lydia Yaremchuk scored 18, Pat Lawson 11, Polly Hay 7, Peggy Wilton 6, Sylvia Fedorak 2, Dorris Woods 2 and Betty Wilson 1. Kay Tanner led the Pandas with 8. Arnold added 7, Nufer 6, Schwartz 4, Silk 2 and Gault 1, while Miller, Moore, Eckert and McLeod were scoreless.
