        Alberta captures the Race Trophy. The Pandas dumped Saskatchewan 34-27 and Manitoba 22-17. They also toiled in the city women’s senior league, finishing second.

Saskatchewan defeated Manitoba 32-18 as Shirley Webb scored 12, Polly Hay 7 and Sheila Cairns 7.

Alberta defeated Saskatchewan 34-27 as Vera Hole scored 15, June Causgrove 14, Olive Barnes 3 and Sylvia Callaway 2. Shirley Webb paced Saskatchewan with 12. Polly Hay added 4, Sheila Cairns 3, Doris Woods 2, Pat Griffiths 2, Thelma Walker 2 and Davis 2. Alberta led 8-5, 19-15 and 30-21 at the quarters.

        Alberta defeated Manitoba 22-17. Alberta led 12-5 at the half. June Causgrove paced Alberta with 6. Vera Hole added 6, Dorothy Jones 4, Olive Barnes 2, Sylvia Callaway 2, Shirley McPhail 2, while Eleanor Krys, Herta Moll, Frances Stanley and Gretta Hanna were scoreless. Verna Peto paced Manitoba with 6. Pat Weiss added 5, Doris Peto 4 and Marg Atkinson 2.
