The Huskies included K Anderson, Isobel Atcheson, Gladys Black, Judy Bulmer, Jean Herschel, F Law, Jean MacMillan, Eleanor Martin, Dorothy McKenzie, Eleanor Rogers, Winnie Rowles, Lorna Rutherford, Margaret Sillers, Jean Stoddard, Mildred Thackery, B Wallace, Elva Washington, Winona Wood, Jean Hoshal, Bernice McCartney and D Goddard.
Alberta defeated Manitoba 21-5 in Winnipeg in the only game played to win the Race Trophy. In a slow-paced game, Mahaffy finally founded the bucket for the Pandas. Manitoba hit a free throw and then Barnett hit a bucket from centre for Alberta. Alberta led 7-1 at the half. Ruth Fry opened the scoring for Alberta in the second half. The Pandas added nine more in the third quarters, while holding the Bisons to a free throw. They led 17-2 after three quarters. Manitoba opened the final frame with a free throw and hoop but did not score again. Doris Calhoun led Alberta with 6. Ruth Fry added 6, Helen Mahaffy 4, Mary Melnyk 3 and Ethel Barnett 2, while Barbara Linke was scoreless.
