Saskatchewan defeated Alberta (29-19, according to the University of Alberta student newspaper The Gateway, or 27-17, according to Saskatchewan) and 42-30 in a home-and-home series.
After game two, the Gateway noted that the “games should have been ours. The first was lost through over confidence and underestimating our opponents. The second game was lost by a narrow margin at Saskatoon.” The success of the team in city league play “has been mainly due to the efforts of Lieutenant ‘Jimmie’ Bill.”
