In the semis, the top-seeded host New Brunswick Red Bloomers clipped the 4th-seeded Prince Edward Island Panthers 66-53. Player of the game Jill Jackson paced the Red Bloomers with 14.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Acadia Axettes stunned the 2nd-seeded St. FX X-Ettes 65-64.

        In the final, New Brunswick defeated Acadia 69-59 in overtime. The Red Bloomers ripped off a 12-2 run in the extra session while rallying from a 32-28 half-time deficit to take the title. Jackie Flieger led New Brunswick with 19, including 6 treys. Jennifer Hale added 17, Laura Swift 8, Kara Palmer 8, Jill Jackson 7, Bonnie Hale 7 and Tracy Lordon 3. Swift also nabbed 10 boards. Brigette Edwards led Acadia with 18 points and 8 boards. Patty Hayden added 14, Linda MacKinnon 12, Norma MacIntyre 6, Kelly Connors 5 and Kate Tanguay 4. Acadia had taken a 14-4 early lead but the Red Bloomers rallied behind treys from Jill Jackson and Jackie Flieger. Player of the game Flieger drained a pair of treys in the second half to ignite a stagnant New Brunswick offence. The score was knotted at 57 after regulation. The Red Bloomers hit 8 free throws in the extra session, including 5 by Hale. New Brunswick hit 23-46 (.500) from the floor and 16-20 (.800) from the line. Acadia shot 24-50 (.480) from the floor and 11-16 (.690) from the line.
