In the semis, Dalhousie crushed New Brunswick 82-60. The Tigers led 32-31 at the half. Lynn Christenson opened the second half with a bucket to give the Varsity Reds their first lead but Dalhousie responded with an 8-0 run to ignite the rout. Kathy McCormack paced the Tigers with 37. Trish MacCormack added 18. Jill Jackson led the Red Bloomers with 20.
In the other semi, UPEI whipped Acadia 92-66.
In the final, the UPEI Panthers defeated the Dalhousie Tigers 72-58. The Tigers quickly found themselves in a hole when Kathy McCormack picked up three quick fouls. Dalhousie briefly drew with one in the second half but soon faltered and the Panthers romped to the win.
