In the semis, the top-seeded Dalhousie Tigers defeated the 4th-seeded Saint Mary’s Huskies 56-46.
In the other semi, the New Brunswick Red Bloomers dispatched the St. FX X-Women 68-52 after leading 44-21 at the half. Laura Gillespie paced the Red Bloomers with 17. Joanne MacLean added 16 and Jill Jeffrey 16.
In the final, the Dalhousie Tigers whipped the New Brunswick Red Bloomers 80-58 after leading 46-28 at the half. Laura Gillespie paced the Red Bllomers with 18. Sandy Hill added 12 and Jill Jeffrey 11. Red Bloomers Margaret Jones and Kathy Norman saw limited minutes after being severely hobbled by injured ankles.
