Girl’s rule changes in 1962 compelled teams to take the ball out of bounds (after an opponent had scored) from under their own basket, rather than at midcourt. The rules were also changed to allow girls to dribble (bounce) the ball three times, rather than just two.
Dalhousie took the title by nipping New Brunswick 47-46 on the final night of the season.
