With league play banned, teams were allowed to play two games against university opponents on an exhibition basis. Dalhousie, for example, played its two games against Acadia. There was no declared intercollegiate champion. The Dalhousie Gazette reported that the winners of the Acadia-Dalhousie series and the Mount Allison-New Brunswick series were to have played off for the Maritime title but there is no evidence that such a series was conducted.
In the Nova Scotia series, Acadia clocked Dalhousie 35-13; 29-8 (Total: 64-21). …………………………………………………… In game one, Acadia prevailed 35-13. Mary McKeigan paced the Tigerettes with 7. Anita Reid added 4 and Vera Crummey 2. The Tigers (coached by Phyllis Wray and managed by Anne Mackley) also included Doshie Stairs, Inez Smith, Margaret Morrison, Anita Rosenblum, Laura Bisset, Kay Smith.
Acadia trimmed New Brunswick 18-13 as Gwen Ward scored 11 and Harlow 7, while Theakston, Bristol, Lockhart, Forsythe-Smith, Keddy, Flett and Budd were scoreless. Anderson led U.N.B. with 7. Murray added 3, Page 2 and McLean 1.
