In game one, St. FX prevailed 55-50. Reardon led the Panthers with 18. Dorais added 11, Mooney 8, Shea 5, Slowey 4 and Taylor 4. St. FX hit 17-24 from the line, while UPEI was 10-22.
In game two, UPEI prevailed 45-43 as Reardon scored 19, Taylor 10, Shea 6, Dorais 6 and Mooney 4. Korbut paced St. FX with 25. McFarland added 6, Shea 4, Grassi 3, Sullivan 3 and Richards 2. The X-Men led 22-19 at the half. The X-Men had just three Canadians on their roster.
