       In the New Brunswick finals, the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds defeated the Mount Allison Mounties with a season-ending 42-40 victory to take the provincial title. 

       In the Nova Scotia division, Acadia emerged as the champs.

In the sudden-death Nova Scotia final, Acadia trimmed Dalhousie 34-29 as Brannen scored 10. McKimmie led the Tigers with 12.

       In the sudden-death Maritime final, Acadia defeated New Brunswick 46-42. The Varsity Reds led by two with five minutes to play but fell apart when centre Butch Mclean fouled out and guard Mal Rogers and playing coach George Andrews each picked up their fourth foul. Morton led Acadia with 14. Barr added 12, Bayne 10, Cameron 8 and Brannan 2. Andrews led the Varsity Reds with 18. McLean added 11, Rogers 6, Munro 3, Davis 2 and Bell 2.
