       Formal playoffs begin for the New Brunswick title. Until 1940, the New Brunswick title is essentially a two-way affair between the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds and the Mount Allison Mounties. The title is decided by a two-game total point series. In the early years, Mount Allison dominated, winning 13 of the first 22 series.
