St. Mary’s Brian Heaney was selected coach of year. Heaney later went on to coach national women’s team at the 1976 Montreal Olympics, 1975 Worlds and 1975 Pan Am Games. Heaney steered the Huskies to a (14-4) AUAA regular season record and a (21-8) overall record.
