In the fifth-place playoff, Laura Gillespie scored 24 to lead the Ottawa-Nepean Rookies past the Montreal Express 71-52. The Rookies also included Maria Bobyn, Linda Edwards.
In the bronze medal match, Halifax defeated the New Brunswick All-Stars 78-66 as Nancy Knowlton scored 26. Nelda Robbins replied with 15 for New Brunswick.
In the gold-medal battle of undefeateds, Victoria dismantled Saskatchewan 85-64 as tourney MVP Joanne Sargeant and Bev Bland each pitched in 15. Victoria led 46-27 at the half. Allison Lang paced Saskatchewan with 24.
