Annie Miller added a pair of buckets as West End extended its lead to 10 after three quarters. Coach Branston inserted Alex Gibb for the Ladies in the final quarter and she ignited a spark.         In game one, Toronto claimed they were severely hampered by the new wood floor that had recently been installed in the Edmonton arena, causing them to repeatedly slip. The Grads stomped Toronto 18-1. Dot Johnson paced the Grads with 10. Daisy Johnson added 0, Connie Smith 2, Mary Dunn 2, Elsie Bennie 2 and Hattie Hopkins 2. Anna Kaplan scored Toronto’s only point.
