Rosemount played R Lester, A Hortig, G Whittle, L Edward, C Harbour and A Edward. Sun Life played H Fields, J Clunas, M Davis, G Johnson, F Cookson and I Gallahet.

        In the sudden-death British Columbia quarterfinals, the Vancouver Native Daughters clipped the Mount Pleasant Presbyterians 9-4 as Gladys Chisholm scored 6, D Gillespie 2 and R Stevenson 1, while A Loutit, J Johnstone and E Baynes were scoreless. G Lewis led the Presbyterians with 4, while A Stewart, C Ferrier, I Richardson, G Stewart and R Vance were scoreless.

        In the other sudden-death quarterfinal, Victoria Fidelis dispatched Nanaimo 28-18 as Crawford scored 19. The following day, the Vancouver Sun reported the converse outcome, with Nanaimo prevailing.

Gertrude Parrott paced Penticton with 6. Norma Lusted added 6, while Edythe Mitchell, L Beatty, Theresa Nagle and Elsie Meldrum were scoreless. Penticton also included Frances Gibson.

In the sudden-death Alberta semi, the University of Alberta Coeds defeated the Calgary Buccaneers 42-16. Florence Alexander scored within the opening six seconds and Alberta never looked back. Alexander soon added two more buckets, Lucille Dobson a trio and Helen Beny a singleton. Alberta notched a late 12-0 run to ensure the victory. Florence Alexander notched 18 for the U of A. Lucille Dobson added 16 and Helen Beny 4, while M. Stanford and Marguerite Cooper were stellar on defence. Olive Caldwell, Bernice Carmichael, G Studholme, H Carswell and Dorothy Smith were scoreless. Ethel Loucks led Calgary with 6, Elaine Dalgeish 4, Ruby Thompson 4, Eileen Turner 1 and Gladys Mosher 1, while Ida Bentz, Marjorie Smith and Jessey Forsey were scoreless.

In game one, the Edmonton Commercial Grads whipped the Toronto Ladies Basketball Team 26-6. The Grads outclassed Toronto, which shot poorly and couldn’t resolve the Grads defence. Abbie Scott led the Grads with 8. Winnie Martin added 6, Mary Dunn 5, Helen McIntosh 4, Connie Smith 2 and Daisy Johnson 1, while Nellie Perry was scoreless. Rosa Grosse led Toronto with 3. Grace Conacher, Athol Wesley and Peggy Pitkethly each added 1, while Alexandrine Gibb, Connie Hennessy and Janet Allen were scoreless. All of Toronto’s points were scored on free throws.

In game two, the Grads prevailed 23-14 as Connie Smith scored 7, Abbie Scott 7, Winnie Martin 6, Nellie Perry 2 and Eleanor Mountifield 1, while H McIntosh, Daisy Johnson and Mary Dunn were scoreless. Rosa Grosse led Toronto with 5. Grace Connacher added 3, Alexandrine Gibb 2, Constance Hennessy 2, Janet Allan 1 and Athol Wesley 1, while Hazel Conacher and Peggy Pitkethly were scoreless.

The Grads went on tour in Europe and were declared the European champs after defeating Strasbourg 37-8. They then attended the third congress of the Federation sportive feminine internationale, where Canada was admitted as member and the Grads were unanimously declared the world champs until 1926, when the next Jeux olympiques feminine were scheduled to take place. The International Olympic Committee subsequently convinced organizers to drop the word “olympiques” from the games, and ultimately, basketball was not included in the 1926 Women’s World Games.
