Captain Bob Strom injured ankle in the first half and likely sidelined for the remainder of the series. Ben Sherky paced Toronto with 10.         In the Eastern championship, the Toronto Elizabeth Playgrounds defeated Saint John YMCA Trojans 54-27; 42-26 (Total: 96-53).

In game one, Toronto took a 26-9 lead at the half with a “swift passing attack and deadly shooting” and then coasted to a 54-27 win. Nat Hennick led Toronto with 15 points. Cooperbloom added 10 and Myagaski 7. George Collins led Saint John with 11.

Game two was close for only a half, after which the score was knotted at 15. But the Lizzies pulled away in the second half and prevailed 42-26. Sherky led Toronto with 18, Strom added 1, Greenberg 5, Nat Hennick 2, Cooperbloom 8, Myagaski 2, Dembrofsky 2 and Linzon 2. George Collins paced Saint John with 12. Mixon added 5, Sharkey 2, Kane 0, Turnbill 1, Ramsey 7 and Murchison 0.
