The Windsor Blue Arrows were scheduled to meet the Montreal YMHA in the semis. The Arrows announced that the dates were unacceptable. Montreal claimed Windsor defaulted. Windsor countered that the dates were never fixed and Montreal did not offer adequate financial guarantees. The matter was eventually sorted out by CABA and the series was held.
