In pool A play: …………………………………………………… A co-coach of the Manitoba team argued that officials violated his Charter rights by denying him the right to coach because of his sex. Jeff Gosman has forced to watch from the stands while brother Jim co-coach and team administrator runs the squad. A Games rule states that in team sports one of two team officials on the bench must be the same sex as the squad. “I’m going to do my best and see that this rule is change,” Jeff Gosman said. “It’s too late for me but my brother and I both think it’s wrong.” Games chairman Jack Pelech said the rule ensures that teams have women who can enter the dressing room or chaperone players without adding to the number of people in restricted areas at the venues. …………………………………………………… Manitoba clubbed British Columbia 71-53 as Marie Rohleder scored 22, Sara Conlin 11, Carol Ploen 11, L.A.
