You go from one side of the coin to the other, and I prefer to stay on this side.” After a back-and-forth start to the game, the Angels went to a 15-0 run and kept their focus. “We talked about that at halftime. They’ve been here before; they know what it takes, just that little extra, to win this game. Being there last year, those girls know what it feels like … You could tell they wanted that win on the last day.” Indian Head called a timeout with 13 seconds remaining in the game, and that’s when the celebration started in Chriest’s head. “We were up comfortably at that point, so you could start to feel it and start to get excited. We were going to win it,” she said. “Last year, we were down by quite a bit at that point in the game and it was an entirely opposite feeling. But this year, we knew we had it.”
