The Lake Lenore Lancers blasted the Lloydminster Holy Rosary Raiders 61-43.

The Melfort Comets spanked the Melville Cobras 61-35.

In the last quarterfinal, the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones bombed the North Battleford John Paul II Crusaders 70-33 as Jody Barry scored 22. Amanda Garchinski paced the Crusaders with 12.

        In the provincial semis, the top-seeded Meadow Lake Carpenter Spartans defeated the 4th-seeded Lake Lenore Lancers 63-42 as Becky Sarauer scored 22. Andrea Gerwing led the Lancers with 15. It marked the first time since 1992 that the Lancers hadn’t won a provincial gold medal, having capturing six consecutive titles at the 1A level.

        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Moose Jaw Central Cyclones upset the 2nd-seeded Melfort Comets 67-50 as Jennifer Prokopetz scored 23. The Cyclones held Melfort to eight points in the first 15 minutes of the second half. “At halftime we talked about tightening things up,” Central coach Lorne Armstrong told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “Our help-side was a lot better and we weren’t as tentative.” Lindsay Anderson scored 22 to lead Melfort.

        In the final, the Meadow Lake Carpenter Spartans defeated the Moose Jaw Central Cyclones 82-71. Arla Cornish paced the Cyclones with 19. Meadow Lake Carpenter finished (29-0) on the season.
