The Moose Jaw Riverview Royals edged the Regina Scott Blues 90-86 as Jamie O’Brien scored 23 and Pete Schleicher 21. Gabe Quewezance paced Regina Scott with 22. Stephan Stonechild added 17.
The Dalmeny Cougars dumped the Maple Creek Composite Redmen 50-43 as Nick Furi scored 17 and Lance Brown controlled the boards. Cody Weiss paced the Redmen with 11, while Matthew Litke was stellar defensively and Tiro Mthemba controlled the pace. Maple Creek led 24-20 at the half.

In the other semi, the Shaunavon Shadows nipped the Dalmeny Cougars 51-48 as Sheridan Kruse-Dahle scored 16, Tyson Willman 13 and Dane Morstad 12. Kendall Bitner paced Dalmeny with 20. Adam Buzinsky added 13. Shaunavon led 24-23 at the half.
In the bronze medal match, the Moose Jaw Riverview Royals defeated the Dalmeny Cougars 54-46 as Jamie O’Brien scored 16, Pete Schleicher 12 and Myles Kempert 12. Adam Buzinsky led Dalmeny with 27. Nicholas Furi added 9. Riverview led 29-20 at the half. Royal guard Mandy DaCunha became the first girl to toil in a boy’s Hoopla match. The Cougars also included Nicholas Furi.
In the final, the Clavet Cougars axed the Shaunavon Shadows 50-40 as Dacre Hamilton scored 12, Dex Getson 11 and David Robinson 10. Sheridan Kruse-Dahl led Shaunavon with 12. Tyson Willman added 10. Shaunavon led 22-14 at the half. The title was the Cougars second consecutive, despite losing all five starters. “The boys showed a lot of composure. They really wanted this,” Clavet coach Kathy Maki told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix.
