The Sturgis Trojans nipped the Kinistino R.J. Humphrey Blues 41-40 on a series of free throws in the final minutes of play. Chantel Burym and Sarah Ball each scored 11 to pace Sturgis. Jennifer Hourie and Jamie Boyle each scored 9 to lead Kinistino.
The Kenaston Kodiaks thrashed Denzil 75-40 as Jen Prpich scored 20 and Lynsae Haduik 14.
In the last quarterfinal, the Eatonia Spartans dumped the Radville Lady Rebels 53-34. Eatonia took an early lead on the interior shooting of Jenelle Boychuk and perimeter bombs of Raeanne Bredy. Eatonia led 17-6 after one quarter. Meagan Bert and Janessa Grasenick rallied Radville to within 21-15 at the half and trimmed the lead to three in the third quarter. But Amanda Becker hit two critical perimeter buckets for Eatonia and Kelly Boychuck pilfered the ball for a pair of layups as Eatonia regained a 30-22 lead at the three-quarter mark and pulled away down the stretch. Jenelle Boychuk led Eatonia with 8. Meagan Bert led Radville with 6.
In the semi-finals, the Fillmore Falcons whipped the Sturgis Trojans 69-38 as Chansi Lynch scored 24 and Megan Wiggins 10. Fillmore led 13-9; 30-15 and 48-29 at the quarters. Sarah Bell led the Trojans with 11. Ashley Burym added 10.
In the other semi, the Kenaston Kodiaks edged the Eatonia Spartans 54-52 as Jen Prpich scored 19 and Lynsae Hadiuk 13. Eatonia led 26-23 at the half and Kenaston 40-39 after three quarters. Jennelle Boychuk led the Spartans with 11. Reanna Bredy added 10 and Amanda Wilson 10.
In the bronze medal match, Eatonia crushed the Sturgis Trojans 67-49 as Amanda Wilson scored 14 and Kellie Boychuk 9. Chantel Burym led Sturgis with 16. Sam Barteski added 11. The scored was knotted at 12 after a quarter when Eatonia hit a pair of treys to build a 34-21 lead at the half. Eatonia stretched their lead to as many as 20 in the second half.
In the final, the Fillmore Falcons defeated the Kenaston Kodiaks 47-43. The Falcons led 13-12 after a quarter but the Kodiaks led 25-23 at the half and 36-35 after three quarters. Megan Wiggins led the Falcons with 19. Chansi Lynch added 14. Jen Prpich paced Kenaston with 15 points. Lynsae Hadiuk and Keisha Feltis each added 8.
