In the bronze medal match, the Bengough Tigers defeated the Rockglen Raiders 62-51 as Kimberley Craven scored 36. Tigers coach Jim Craven said his troops “played as a team.” Sarah Crooks led the Raiders with 24. The Raiders also included Mary Crooks.
In the final, the Fillmore Falcons whipped the Eatonia Spartans 66-36. The Falcons led 66-36 at the half. They were paced by Lisa Greig’s 21 points. Dominating post Sarah Leguee added 15. Kali Nunweiler led Eatonia with 11. The Falcons led by nine at half. “We were frustrated in the first half, but we never stopped,” Greig told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “In the second, we started hitting our shots and they started to miss some shots. The combination added up for us.”
