In the regional finals, the Biggar Blazers qualified for their third consecutive provincial final four by edging the Tisdale Tornados 37-36 as Jim Cowley scored 17, David Richardson 11 and Lawrence Gilewich 9.
In the semis, held in Biggar, the Gravelbourg Mathieu Alouettes defeated Kamsack Spartans 57-24 as Lee Pinel scored 26.
In the other semi, the Biggar Blazers defeated the Weyburn Western Christian Mustangs 49-41.
In the bronze medal, the Weyburn Western Christian Mustangs pounded the Kamsack Spartans 62-30.
In the final, the Gravelbourg Mathieu Alouettes defeated the Biggar Blazers 58-48 as Lee Pinel scored 20. R. Blais added 14. Gravelbourg was ahead 16-14 at the quarter and 32-26 at the half. Biggar closed to within 50-48 at the three-quarter mark. Lawrence Gilewich led the Blazers with 15. Wayne Clark added 12 and Jim Covey 10.
