Trojans coach Zoya Shmyr told the Regina Leader-Post that “the first half was some of the most exciting basketball we’ve played all year, but the second half wasn’t nearly as exciting as we sort of coasted to the end. We rebounded them throughout the entire game, despite their noticeable size advantage. We played well and had a much better shooting percentage than did Bedford. I think this, in itself, had to be the biggest disappointment of the game. Had they been able to shot with greater accuracy, we would have seen a much better and closer contest.”
