Lynda Brassett led Irwin with 11. Aden Bowman coach Joy Treleaven noted that “we were really never in trouble as we led throughout the game. Yet it was a good final as we had to play more defensive ball than we have played all year. The Swift Current team had several tall players and some of them around six feet, so we had to take full advantage of our opportunities.” The Bears led 12-4, 15-6 and 21-16 at the quarters.
