Aden Bowman rallied to within one with four minutes to play but Battiste and Walecke put the game out of reach with a pair of buckets. Donna Little led Aden Bowman with 14. Barb McKinstry added 10, Lynn Burlingham 6, Lynn Samson 4 and Jane Robins 4. In the provincial final, Jodine Will scored 11 while containing high scoring Riverview forward Vicki Heming to 15 as Saskatoon Convent of Sion defeated the Moose Jaw Riverview Royals 44-31. Sion broke open a close contest with a 13-8 run in the third quarter by outhustling Riverview. Barb Battiste added 9 for Sion, Sharon Scissors 8, Linda Walecke 6, Noreen Provost 5 and Bernadette Provost 5. Barb Nelson added 6 for Riverview. Linda Sanderson scored 4, Dorothy Hanley 4 and Doreen Boneau 2.
