        In the quarterfinals, the Foam Lake Panthers clubbed the Regina Christian Grizzlies 84-52.

        The Langham Walter W. Brown Vikings edged the Rosthern Junior College Longhorns 54-51. Vikings co-coach Cheryl Hardcastle said her squad was determined not to lose out in the regionals for the third consecutive campaign. “We didn’t want a three-peat. The girls were very focused this year. Right from the very first practice, they all said their goal this year is to make it Hoopla and represent our region. … We have five Grade 12 players in the lineup. They’re all good friends and they have a lot of chemistry between them. They play as a team, and it shows.” The Vikings led 50-35 with five minutes to play before relinquishing a late run. “It was a little tense at the end there,” said Hardcastle.

        The Wynyard Bears mauled the Asquith Athletics 76-53.

        In the last quarterfinal, the Shaunavon Silhouettes stomped the Birch Hills Marauders 89-43. “I don’t think it’s really hit the girls yet,” Silhouettes coach Michelle Hansen told the Shaunavon Standard. “But it’s pretty exciting for them. And the pressure is off now. They go to Hoopla and have fun and just play their game.” Lacey Pritchard led the Silhouettes with 39. The Silhouettes led 19-9 after one quarter and 46-20 at the half.  

        In the semis, the Foam Lake Panthers defeated the Langham Walter W. Brown Vikings 63-56.

        In the other semi, the Wynyard Bears crushed the Shaunavon Silhouettes 75-55.

        In the bronze medal match, the Langham Vikings dumped the Shaunavon Silhouettes 62-46. The Silhouettes (coached by Jaelee Guenther and Michelle Hansen) included Renée Wilkins, Rachel Amon, Cassie Hansvall, Brooke Amon, Joy Petinrin, Lacey Pritchard, Rebecca Hansen, Cassie Nicolson, Rachel Davis and Rachel Illerbrun.

In the final, the Foam Lake Panthers defeated the Wynyard Bears 66-56.
