The Macklin Sabres smacked the Preeceville Panthers 70-43 as Maja Kralocova scored 30, Jennifer Knourek 16 and Jennifer Reschny 9. Ryley Smith led Preeceville with 10. Helen Giannios added 8 and Chelsea Boyle 6.
The Duck Lake Stobart Rebels whipped the Davidson Raiders 89-54 as Heather Bourdon scored 39. Liza Gregoire hit 21 for Davidson, which was unable to handle Stobart’s fastbreak. Stobart led 32-23 at the half.
In the semi-finals, the Kinistino R.J. Humphrey Blues defeated the Sturgis Trojans 69-34 as Jenna Holmquist scored 19 and Tami Jack 12. Chelsea Dmytrash scored 18 for Sturgis. Meagan Barteski added 8.

In the bronze medal match, the Duck Lake Stobart Rebels defeated the Sturgis Trojans 71-50 as Jen Bourdon scored 20 and Kim Bourdon 16. Ashley Burym paced Sturgis with 17. Megan Barteski added 16. Duck Lake Stobart led 40-23 at the half. Sturgis was coached by Fawad Husein, who also guided the boy’s squad to an A bronze medal.
In the final, the Kinistino R.J. Humphrey Blues defeated the Macklin Sabres 49-46 as Jenna Holmquist scored 25. Jerri Light added 13. Maja Kralocova paced Macklin with 30. Jen Knourek added 7. Macklin led 26-19 at the half. Trailing by seven at the half, the Blues never doubted they could come back. They scored early and often in the second half, outscoring the Sabres by 10 in the final 20 minutes. “We realized if we didn’t pick it up, we were done,” Jenna Holmquist told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix.
