Jesse Sorenson paced LCBI with 25. Aiden Wong added 10, David Weisgerber 7, Sammy McCullough 6, Matt Brotzel 5, Kenny Olson 4, Sam Deason 3 and Curtis Friesen 3. In the semis, the Moose Jaw Cornerstone Falcons crushed the Herbert Laurels 74-55 as Brian Fischer scored 24. Cornerstone took command in the third quarter as the Laurels tired. Aaron Crosbie was chosen player of the game for the Falcons, while Kevin Falk earned the honours for Herbert afteromg scoring 15.
In the other semi, the Asquith Athletics whipped the Osler Valley Christian Academy Lions 75-51. Adam McTavish dominated the paint for Lord Asquith, scoring 36, while point guard Sheldon Reddekopp starred for Osler, scoring 24. Lord Asquith led 20-7 after a quarter as they generated a raft of transition buckets. They extended their lead to 40-21 at the half as McTavish took control in the blocks. McTavish hit a trey to open the second half and romped.
In the bronze medal match, the Herbert Laurels stomped the Osler Valley Christian Academy Lions 81-48 as Ryan Folk scored 22 and Morgan McClellar 10. Sheldon Reddekopp paced Osler with 17.
In the final, the Moose Jaw Cornerstone Falcons edged the Asquith Athletics 71-68. Lord Asquith appeared to be in control and led 57-46 heading into the final quarter. But the Falcons fought back as Brian Fisher gamely drilled mid-range jumpers and pulled out the win after outscoring the Athletics 25-11 in the final frame. Fisher finished with 26 points. Adam McTavish led the Athletics with 18. Falcons coach Brett Blair had played for the Luther Lions in the 1992 final.
