The Outlook L.C.B.I. Bisons dispatched the Canora Cougars 99-89.

The Saskatoon Christian Centre Academy Cougars mauled the Biggar Blazers 90-73.

In the last quarterfinal, the Birch Hills Marauders blasted the Shaunavon Shadows 73-49. The Shadows included Curti Bernar, Ron Hart.

        In the provincial semis, the top-seeded Clavet Cougars defeated the 4th-seeded Birch Hills Marauders 101-54 as Emery Salahub scored 33. Leigh Evans led the Marauders with 29.

In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Saskatoon Christian Centre Academy Cougars defeated the 3rd-seeded Outlook Lutheran Collegiate Bible Institute Bisons 83-80 as Jeff Espeleta scored 30. Mark Knutson led the Bisons with 23.

In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Birch Hills Marauders defeated the 3rd-seeded Outlook L.C.B.I. Bisons 71-58 as Leigh Evans scored 33. Ryan Derdall led the Bisons with 15.

        In the final, the top-seeded Clavet Cougars prevailed 85-74 over the Saskatoon Christian Centre Academy Cougars, which moved up a division after winning two consecutive provincial crowns and four of the previous five under coach Gregg Galan at the A level. “Everybody has so much potential in different ways and we came together as a team,” Clavet’s Cliff Mahlum told the Saskatoon Star-Phoenix. “There was no one who could stop us; it felt so right.” CCA, which had won the last two 1A titles before moving up to 2A, spotted Clavet a 46-31 halftime lead and couldn’t make up the lost ground. “I’m happy,” said CCA guard Jeff Espeleta, who scored 36. “I have no regrets whatsoever. We didn’t let down. It’s not in us to let down. Coach (Greg Galan) gave us a Bible verse before Hoopla about standing strong (1 Corinthians 15:58), and our guys did that today. We were focused the whole year to take the title. We didn’t get it, but we’re happy with silver. Very happy.” Cliff Mahlum scored 27 points for Clavet.
