In the semis, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels defeated the Kensington Torchmen 66-63.

        In the other semi, the Summerside Three Oaks Axemen defeated the Montague Vikings 70-41.

        In the bronze medal match, the Kensington Torchmen defeated the Montague Vikings x-x.

In the final, the Charlottetown Colonel Gray Colonels knocked off the Summerside Three Oaks Axemen 58-57, who had been undefeated in league play, on a foul jumper by 5-6 guard Dave Gallant with five seconds to go. Three Oaks had led by six at the half and through most of the game. Mark Finley sank a pair of free throws with 11 seconds to play to set the stage for Gallant’s heroics. Finley led Colonel Gray with 18. Brian MacAdam scored 15, Gallant 14, Jamie McSwain 11 and Eric Brown 10. Three Oaks’ Dave MacEachern was held to 10. Three Oaks had gone undefeated during the regular season. Colonel Gray was 10-6, including three losses to Three Oaks.
