In the quarterfinals, the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines defeated the Morell Marlins 58-41 as Gena Shea scored 16, Amanda Shea 15 and Kristen Hogan 14. Michaela MacDonald paced Morell with 16. Samara Meade added 11. Elmsdale Westisle led 29-15 at the half. The Marlins also included Melissa MacDonald, Kelsey Burke, Erin MacDonald, Emily MacEachern, Emily MacAdam, Candice Jay, Emily Jay, Abbey Hendricken, Tiffany Burke, Katie Cousins, Tracey Mackenzie, Kelly Blaisdell, Heidi Coffin and Holly MacInnis.

        In the semis, the Souris Spartans defeated the Kensington Torchettes 57-54 in overtime as Meaghan McQuaid scored 19 and nabbed 6 boards. April Fisher scored 13 and nabbed 9 boards. Freda Fraser scored 11 and grabbed 6 boards. Tegan Boertien scored 8 and grabbed 12 boards. Candice Norton scored 6 (all in overtime) and grabbed 7 boards. Cailin Crosby paced Kensington with 27 points and 21 boards. Katrina Clow added 14 points and 8 boards. Lauren Clark scored 6 and grabbed 20 boards, while Stacey Coffin scored 6. Kensington led 25-21 at the half. The score was knotted at 47 after regulation play as Cailin Crosby scored a bucket for Kensington but missed a foul shot that would have won it. Freda Fraser hit a pair of free throws with 2:17 to play in overtime and Candace Norton notched a putback rebound that gave Souris a 4-point lead with 1:10 to play. Crosby hit a bucket with 45 seconds to play to cut Souris’ lead to 53-51. Laurie Marchbank stole the ball and was fouled, hitting one free throw. Norton was fouled with 10.3 seconds to play and hit both free throws to give Souris a three-point lead that held up. “They (Souris) were just better than us today,” Torchettes coach Anna Stammberger told the Summerside Journal-Pioneer. “We didn’t get ourselves in position for the good shots, nor did we make our shots. We were up and down, just too inconsistently, both on offence and defence and it was not a solid performance. We always seemed behind trying to play catch-up. Everyone was still played hard, but just not always making the right decisions. I thought Cailin (Crosby) played well.”

In the other semi, the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines defeated the Montague-1 Vikings 59-58 in overtime as Kristen Hogan scored 19 and grabbed 6 boards. Gena Shea scored 15 and Tara Bernard 12, while nabbing 13 boards. Amanda Shea scored 7. Paula MacDonald paced Montague-1 with 19. Angela Drane added 16, while Charlie Johnston scored 6 and nabbed 8 boards. Elmsdale Westisle led 29-20 at the half. The score was knotted at 54 after regulation play. MacDonald forced overtime by notched a layup with 5 seconds to play. Geena Shea hit a free throw with 25 seconds to clock to give Westisle is the win.

In the bronze medal match, the Kensington Torchettes defeated the Montague-1 Vikings 65-38 as Katrina Clow scored 20 and nabbed 7 boards. Cailin Crosby scored 19, including 10 in the first quarter, and nabbed 11 boards, while Lauren Clark scored 8 and nabbed 13 boards. Paula MacDonald paced Montague-1 with 16 points. Charlie Johnston added 6. Kensington led 16-9 midway through the first half and extended it to 33-14 at the break. The Vikings also included Angela Drane.

In the final, the Elmsdale Westisle Wolverines defeated the Souris Spartans 67-62 as Geena Shea scored 19 and made 8 steals. Kristen Hogan scored 15 and grabbed 6 boards, while Tara Bernard scored 13 and nabbed 15 boards; Amanda Shea scored 12 and ripped down 11 boards. April Fisher paced Souris with 20 points, 6 boards and 6 steals. Tegan Boertien scored 13 and nabbed 8 boards. Freda Fraser scored 13, while Megan McQuaid scored 10 and nabbed 8 boards. Elmsdale Westisle led 37-28 at the half. Elmsdale Westisle broke to a 9-0 lead before Geena Shea responded with seven straight points. With Fred Fraser hitting nine the Spartans rallied to within 30-24 but the Wolverines remained in command with a 37-28 lead at the half. Souris closed with three with 1:17 to play but Elmsdale Westisle iced it at the line.
