In the quarterfinals, the 3rd-seeded Kensington Torchettes defeated the 6th-seeded Montague Vikings 69-60 as Miriam Heaton scored 30. Andrea Visser led Montague with 25. The Vikings also included Femke Hakkers.

        In the other quarterfinal, the 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-A Raiders defeated the 5th-seeded Elmsdale Westisle-AA Wolverines 60-53 as Maria MacQuaid scored 18 and Sheila Oraniuk 16. Ellen Barwise led Elmsdale Westisle with 15.

        The quarterfinal losers drop to the A semi-finals.

        In the semis, the top-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-AA Colonels defeated the 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-A Raiders 61-52 as Jane Vessey scored 14, Carrie Houston 9 and Jody Murphy 8. The Colonels led 33-19 at the half. Maria McQuaid led Rural with 16. Sara Adams added 15 and Sherri Oraniuk 11.

        In the other semi, the 2nd-seeded Charlottetown Rural-AA Raiders dumped the 3rd-seeded Kensington Torchettes 60-52 as Maria MacAulay scored 16, Laura Diamond 12 and Maria Gaudet 7. Lindsay Bellafontaine led the Torchettes with 21. Sarah Crane added 9. Kensington led 31-25 at the half.

        In the bronze medal match, the 3rd-seeded Kensington Torchettes defeated the 4th-seeded Charlottetown Rural-A Raiders 65-53 as Lindsay Bellefontaine scored 13. Sherri Oraniuk led the Raiders with 14. Maria McQuaid added 12. The Raiders also included Sheila Oraniuk, Sherry Oraniuk.

        In the final, the top-seeded Charlottetown Colonel Gray-AA Colonels defeated the 2nd-seeded Charlottetown Rural AA Raiders 53-36. The Colonels captured their sixth consecutive crown as Carrie Houston took control of the game down the stretch. Colonels coach Chris Annett told the Charlottetown Guardian that he was disappointed in his squad’s sluggish start. “We were a little untracked in the first half but we began to attack the basket more directly and it seemed to really pay off for us. I challenged Carrie to step up her play and she responded and took it upon herself to get us going. It’s a thrill to win. I’m very proud of the girls.” Houston led the Colonels with 17 points. Norah Pendergast added 13. Jana Foley and Jennifer MacDonald each scored 8 to pace Rural. Houston said the Colonels’ “team game was excellent. We executed well and we did all the little things right. Even when we were having some trouble getting the job done in the first half, we stayed calm and didn’t panic.”
