The lead changed hands four times in the final frame and the score was knotted at 35 in regulation. They traded buckets in the extra session until Gerry Probert, playing with a broken nose, hit a big hoop to give the Yorkers their first lead. They added two insurance free throws. Sudbury star Jackie Duncan, who was tossed into the crowd in a fourth-quarter scuffle, was forced to leave the floor before overtime after collapsing and requiring medical attention.
