        In the other semi, the 3rd-seeded Smithville Christian Storm dispatched the 4th-seeded Sudbury Collège Notre Dame Les Alouettes 48-36 as Daniella Zondag scored 17, Kyra Van Geest 10, Tori Hultink 9, Jacoba Hoekstra 8 and Alia Breukelman 4.         In the bronze medal match, the 4th-seeded Sudbury Collège Notre Dame Les Alouettes defeated the 2nd-seeded South Porcupine Roland Michener Rebels 62-55. The Rebels (coach John Toby, assistant Serge Rioux, assistant Lindsay Toby) included Alexis Toby, Cadence Pecore, Kiena Jones, Quincy Stinson, Tiana Kingsbury, Kassidy Mairs, Brianna Fera, Emma Mousseau, Heidi Young, Abby Beerman, Morgan Cornell and Emily Michel.

        In the final, the 3rd-seeded Smithville Christian Storm pounded the 8th-seeded Belleville Nicholson Catholic Crusaders 43-24. “I couldn’t have dreamed of this. This was so much fun and it was awesome,” Tori Hultink told bpsportsniagara.com “We have built such good bonds and this is an incredible team. I knew from the beginning that this could be an OFSAA-winning team and it feels great. … All of the girls have such good individual skills and a hard-working mentality. We are good on defence. We have long Dutch arms and we have a one-three-one (defence) that we found really helpful.” The Storm led 11-5, 25-15 and 35-17 at the quarters, taking command with a 9-0 run in the second frame. “These girls have a lot of heart and a lot of speed and they really work well together,” said assistant coach Derrick DeKlerk. “You could see with their passes the way they were communicating on the court and I think their defence was spectacular though the whole tournament and especially in this game.”  Daniella Zondag led the Storm with 11. Kyra Van Geest added 10, Jacoba Hoekstra 8 and Alia Breukelman 6. Charlotte Farrell led the Crusaders with 11. Kira Fair added 5, Chloe Knapp 4, Madison Lees 2 and Grace LaCroix 2. Crusaders coach Tim Coates told the Belleville Intelligencer that “the girls played their best basketball of the season and even improved as the tournament went on.
