Emma Rigg drove the lane for a bucket and Ainsley Cameroux-Peacock posted up for a bucket to extend the lead to 10-0 before Olivia Dinnissen stemmed the bleeding for the Kolts. The Kolts shifted into a zone to slow the pace but Charlotte Clarke posted up for a bucket to extend the Tigers lead. Bondy nails a trey and it becomes a free throw shooting contest. With the score knotted at 36, Bondy hits one free throw, Le Royal rebound the second, kick it back to Bondy, who is fouled. Katherine Lemoine paced the Falcons with 13. Natalie Levac and Brittany Derochie each added 8. Laura Burnett led Rockway with 19. Laura Wismer added 6. The Falcons exploded to an early lead on buckets by Katherine Lemoine, Brittany Derochie, Natalie Levac and Angela Levac. The Flames began to slowly claw back in the second quarter as Laura Burnett and Laura Wismer start hitting jumpers. Neither time can find the range in the third quarter as Rockway draws within five. The Falcons take command in the third quarter as Lemoine dominates the paint.

Danielle Marion paced the Jaguars with 14. Kaitlyn McPherson added 10. Julia Cork led the Eagles with 12. Janan Lewars added 9. Kaitlyn McPherson opened the game with an old-fashioned three-point play for the Jaguars. Emilie Chiasson countered with a runout layup off a steal. Julia Cork kept scoring in the paint for Elmwood and Courtney Peters notched a transition layup but Nicole Marion and Kaitlyn McPherson notched buckets in the blocks as Confederation built an 11-7 lead. Chantal Henri pump fakes and drives for a basket as Danielle Marion sinks a fadeaway jumper as the Jaguars extend their lead to 17-12 at the half. The Jaguars continue to stretch their lead slowly in the third quarter but the Eagles rally with a 6-2 run to trim the margin to four. Confederation slows the paced to a crawl and hangs on for the win.
The 5th-seeded Elliot Lake Atoms dusted the 10th-seeded Sudbury Ecole Secondaire du Sacre-Coeur Griffons 52-40 after leading 18-12, 28-27 and 40-34 at the quarters. Felicia Mazerolle paced Elliot Lake with 39 points. Stephanie Giroux led the Griffons with 15. Chantal McMahon added 11. Felicia Mazerolle twice pilfered the ball for transition layups as Elliot Lake broke to an 8-3 lead. She dominates the floor as the Atoms build a 23-12 lead but when she takes a breather in the second quarter after picking her third foul, the Griffons rally within 28-27 at the half. Stephanie Giroux gives Sacre-Coeur the lead with a bucket in the second half but Mazerolle drains a trey and pilfers the ball for a layup as the Atoms regain the lead. She nails another and then hits a 15-foot spinner as Elliot Lake inches ahead 40-34 after three quarters and then coasts to the win.
In the last quarterfinal, the 7th-seeded Cornwall Holy Trinity Falcons stun the 2nd-seeded St. Catharines Ridley College Tigers 51-36 after leading 19-12, 31-17 and 33-25 at the quarters. Katherine Lemoine paced the Falcons with 20. Brittany Derochie added 19, including five from beyond the arc. Brittany Derochie sets the tone by drained a long trey to open the contest. Katherine Lemoine works free in the blocks to add a bucket and then Derochie hits a pair of buckets as the Falcons explode to an early lead. The Tigers rally back to within 19-12 after one quarter but Derochie adds two more treys and a long jumper as Holy Trinity moves ahead 31-17 at the half. Natalie Levac rallies the Tigers back to within eight in the fourth quarter but Lemoine hits free throws on two technical fouls as the Falcons pulled out the win. “The girls played really well,” said Holy Trinity coach Dave McCabe. “I couldn’t be happier for them.” Aisley Camroux-Peacock led the Tigers with 22. The Tigers (coach Kim Becken, assistant David Whitty, assistant Walt Szpilewski) also included Madison Seymour, Emma Rigg, Carlotta Clark, Lauren Chisholm, Uzo Azoba, Alex Hawerchuk, Jessica Guys, Lauren Clarkson and Liz Allison.

The Lions broke to a 14-7 lead on good ball movement and a stifling defence that kept Atoms star Felica Mazerolle double-teamed and unable to work free for open jumpers. The Lions kept the tempo at a brisk paced and scored a bushel of buckets in transition, while dominating the boards but Mazerolle, Lisa Ucci and Chelsey Lees hit buckets to trim the margin to 25-20 at the half. Ucci hits a trey to open the second half but Tessa Norris and Meg Morris hit a pair of buckets and Mazerolle picks up her fourth foul as the Lions begin to rebuild their lead. Rideau’s triangle-and-two defence contains Mazerolle as the Lions pull away in the final frame.

The Jaguars built a slim lead in the second quarter on runout buckets by Danielle Marion and then extend their lead to 23-17 at the half as Nicole Marion catches fire. They extend their margin to double digits in the second half on a trey by Chantal Henri but Angela Levac and Katherine Lemoine rally the Falcons within 35-28 after three quarters. In the torrid fourth quarter, they maintain a slim lead before icing it at the line down the stretch.
In the bronze medal match, the 5th-seeded Elliot Lake Atoms nipped the 7th-seeded Cornwall Holy Trinity Falcons 54-53 after leading 15-11, 32-23 and 45-35 at the quarters. Felica Mazerolle paced the Atoms with 22. Chelsea Lees added 13. Katherine Lemoine led the Falcons with 22. Angela Levac added 19. In a classic matchup between speed and size, speed just prevailed. The Atoms took an early 8-3 lead on a pair of jumpers by Felicia Mazerolle and a runout by Chelsea Lees off a Mazerolle steal. Angela Levac countered with a pair of buckets for the Falcons but Mazerolle drains a long trey to give Elliott Lake a 15-11 lead after one quarter. Mazerolle and Levac continue to trade buckets in the second quarter as the Atoms build a double-digit lead but Natalie Levac and Shannon Snow hit buckets to draw the Falcons with 32-23 at the half. The Atoms extend their lead to 14 in the third quarter and appear in command but Mazerolle picks up her fourth foul and back roar the Falcons. Brittany Derochie drains a trey. Snow another bucket. Angela Levac hits a pair of free throws and then Katherine Lemoine added a free throw as Holy Trinity rallied within three. Mazerolle reenters but is promptly whistled for a charge. Coach Jasper Naus draws a technical on the call. Lemoine hits three of four free throws. Angela Levac adds two more and the lead is one. Angela Levac hits another two free throws and the Falcons lead by one with a minute to play. Chantal Henri paced the Jaguars with 13. Kaitlyn McPherson added 10. Brooke Kelly led the Lions with 15. Meg Morris added 13. The Lions opened with a putback rebound by Tessa Morris and a blocked shot by Brooke Kelly. Kaitlyn McPherson hits a bucket and Nicole Marion a trey as Confederation takes the lead. Courtney McPherson adds a pair of buckets as the Jaguars extend their lead to 12-7 after one quarter. Chantal Henri hits a trey and hustles all over the court as Confederation builds a double-digit lead. Brooke Kelly trims the margin to single digits in the third quarter with a pair of long treys and then cut the lead to 44-40 with two minutes to play. But the Jaguars maintain their poise and ice the win at the free throw line. Confederation was making its first appearance at OFSAA. “The chemistry is magical on this team,” said coach Ron Marion, who started the basketball program three years earlier. “Whether the girls are playing or on the bench, they’re behind each other, they support each other. It’s just a wonderful group of kids.” The squad featured eight Grade 11 players and two from Grade 9. “Obviously, we were thrilled to be here, and thrilled to win,” Marion said. It’s the “first medal of any kind” for the school at OFSAA, said Confederation athletic director Jason Falardeau. “We’ve had some individual medals, in sports like swimming, but never at the team level. It certain never happened since I’ve been here.” The squad had captured back-to-back junior high school titles under coach Ron Marion, a Welland lawyer and chairman of the French public school board, prior to entering the senior ranks.
