Trojans coach Ken Reidiger told the St. Catherines Standard that “I’ve never seen a girl dominate the way she (Navarro) did … Everything just went cold. They had 15 of 19 foul shots and she just picked up the intensity. … It can hurt when you haven’t had to come from behind all year. We’d been pushed a couple of times during the season but not usually when it comes to the third or fourth quarter. That’s when we go ahead.” Reideger told the Niagara Falls Review that “we’ve had a successful year, it’s just a bad way to end … The scoring definitely went cold and non-existent for four-and-a-half minutes. It’s tough knowing we were beating them – and should have beat them, I guess – and we didn’t.”
