        Girls rules at the time had players toiling in three zones, one under each basket and one the middle. Players could not leave their zones.

In what was billed as the first WOSSA tournament, the semis saw Sarnia Collegiate thump Windsor Collegiate 34-26.

        In the other WOSSA semi, St. Thomas defeated Galt x-x.

        In the bronze medal match, Galt edged Windsor Collegiate 19-17.

        In the final, Sarnia Collegiate edged St. Thomas 29-27.

        In the WOSSA semis, Brantford Collegiate edged Windsor Collegiate 21-19.

        In the other WOSSA semi, St. Thomas torched Woodstock 52-7.

        In the bronze medal match, Windsor Collegiate defeated Woodstock 24-22 in overtime as H Hussey scored 9, J Ray 8 and M Neal 7, while M Thompson, M Hackett, S Gatecliffe, H Windecker, M Gardiner, H Smith and T Gatecliff were scoreless.         In the WOSSA semis, the Windsor-Walkerville Tartans dusted Galt 44-18 as Marion Allison scored 16, Isabel Leishman 16 and Viola Alga 12, while Marion Bull, Jean Churchill, Audrey Brown, Isabel Chisholm, Cicely Helps, Helen Clinton and Mary Potter were scoreless. V Feffler pace Galt with 12. A Fraser added 4, D Thompson 1 and G Gibb 1, while G Massell, D McAllister and K Ballingail were scoreless.

        In the other WOSSA semi, South London Collegiate clipped Alma College 32-15.

        In the WOSSA final, the Windsor-Walkerville Tartans dispatched London South Collegiate 25-9. Isabel Leishman scored 15 to lead the Tartans (coached by Mrs. N.R Ibbetson). Viola Agla added 10, while Marion Allison, Marion Bull, Audrey Brown, Helen Clinton and J Churchill were scoreless. Leonore Lundy paced London South with 7. In the WOSSA semis, Windsor Collegiate whipped the St. Mary’s Saints 41-14 as Florence Clark scored 22. Helen McIntosh led the Saints with 12. The Saints also included Marjorie Clark, Margaret Dunbar, Margaret Whetsone, Margaret McIntyre, Isabel Black and Phyllis McIntosh.

In the other WOSSA semi, the London Central Golden Ghosts edged Sarnia 28-24. Sarnia included Mary Cobbin, Mary Simpson, Jean Wheatcroft, Bertha Lewis, Bernice Simpson and Wilma Worklan.

In the bronze medal match, Sarnia dusted St. Mary’s 32-12.

In the WOSSA final, Windsor Collegiate torched the London Central Golden Ghosts 43-14 as Dorothy Clarke scoed 10, Mabel Andrew 14 and Florence Clarke 8. Mary McLeish led the Golden Ghosts with 7. The Golden Ghosts also included Grace Rath, Helen McCormick, Bettie McNeill, Lillian Wren, Jean Howie, Clair Boughner.

In the Ontario final, Windsor Collegiate defeated North Toronto 31-22. The first half was played using Windsor rules with regard to points. Shots from behind the head counted one, while those from the chest counted two. North Toronto took a 15-12 lead at the half. The second half used more traditional rules, with field goals counting two and free throws one point. The scoring rules helped Windsor as they racked up the win with a better performance from the field. Florence Clarke led Windsor with 13. Dorothy Clarke added 10. Norah Gordon notched 4 for North Toronto.

After the final, Windsor was challenged by Beamsville on the grounds that the school had not been included in the playoff format. In the challenge match, Windsor dispatched Beamsville 40-31 ad Dorothy Clarke scored 18, Florence Clarke 15 and Mabel Andrews 7. Doris McCrea paced Beamsville with 21. Zeita Shepherd added 6 and Helen Comfort 4, while Mildred Clarke, Margaret Kennedy, Mollie Wyline, Susie Lahmer and Violet Culp were scoreless.

        In the Eastern Ontario final, Glebe thrashed Prescott 52-17 as Florence Simpson scored 24, Alice Butler 17, Hazel Hutchinson 9 and C Stiles 2, while S Raymond, M Kindle, D McDougall, M Meredith, N Earles and G Heidman were scoreless.         In the Eastern Ontario quarterfinals, Ottawa Technical School defeated Prescott 52-25 as Flo Jenkins scored 40. Prescott included T Johnson, R Brady, S Edwards, Nan Easter, H Dubruie, M Jenkinson, A Rileyer, Kingston and Fraser.

        In the East semis, Renfrew clipped Ottawa Tech 26-18. Ottawa Tech included Flo Jenkins, Vera Dawson, Clarice Smith, Gloria Gardner, Muriel McCann, Jean Brown, Margaret Hamilton and Margaret Merkel. Tech also included J Earnshaw.

        In the East semis, Picton pounded Kingston Collegiate 57-23.

        In the Eastern Ontario final, Renfrew defeated Picton 38-35 (also reported as 28-25). Renfrew (coached by L Handford) included Edith Acton, Jean Cragie, Mary Moore, Eva Kirk, Lila Walsh, Edna Blackwell, Isabel McLachlan, Jean Forrest and Buelah Walsh. In the Eastern Ontario final, Renfrew retained its title by dumping Napanee 53-38.
