In the quarterfinals, the Toronto Brockton Rams defeated Scarborough Sir Robert L. Borden Falcons 73-47 as Nick Likos scored 43. Toney Loney led the Falcons with 26. The Falcons also included Simmons, Steve Skinner.
The Toronto Parkway Panthers defeated Ottawa Highland Park Fighting Irish (later Notre Dame High) 53-42 as Alec Cardozo scored 27. Highland Park also included Gary Morand, Wayne Denny.
In the last quarterfinal, Brantford H.E. Fawcett Tigers (now Tollgate Tech) edged the Niagara Falls Collegiate & Vocational Institute (then Niagara Falls Lord Elgin) Red Raiders 45-40 as Jim Thibert scored 36. Ian Longmuir paced the Red Raiders with 22. Ron Bunn added 10.
In the semis, the Toronto Brockton Rams defeated the two-time champ Toronto Parkway Panthers 57-50 as Nick Likos scored 20 and Mike Tozic 13. Nat Cesario led the Panthers with 12. Alec Cardozo added 11 and Mike Savoie 8. The Panthers also included Frank Gramenga, Brian Sherman, Sherman Bryant, Allen Cardoza.
In the other semi, the Oshawa General Vanier Chiefs clubbed the Brantford H.E. Fawcett Tigers 60-38 as Allan Tyce scored 16 and Chuck Randalls 17. John Esposito led Fawcett with 17. The Tigers (coached by Dick Attlebery, manager Rob Martin) also included Jim Thibert, Pete Munro, Joe Hinton, Brian Morris, Terry Essery, Charlie Fyge, Roy Brown, David Pedley, John Henry, Graeme Fyfe, Mike Hewitt and Brian Morris.
In the final, the Toronto Brockton Rams defeated the Oshawa General Vanier Chiefs 69-46. Brockton led 20-12, 37-24 and 55-36 at the quarters. Tourney MVP Nick Likos led Brockton with 31. Trevor Bennett added 15 and Vince Cappizzano 14. Allan Tyce led the Chiefs with 11. John Steenstra added 10 and Craig Randall 8.
Joining Likos on the all-tourney team were: Tony Loney (Scarborough Borden); Nat Cesario (Parkway); Alec Cardozo (Parkway); and Wayne Denny (Ottawa Highland Park).
