The bigger accomplishment is the fact we won a bronze medal at A last year, and won a bronze medal at AA OFSAA this year. That speaks volumes to the girls’ skill, commitment and ability to work together as a team. I don’t think they get that, they think they got the same result as last year, but it’s not. It’s unheard of. To go up a whole classification in terms of school and school size and to medal, I think is a phenomenal feat for them. It’s attributed to their commitment, and their commitment to the sport of basketball.” Leprechauns coach Jenny Vaughan told the Burlington Post that “making it to OFSAA was the goal. Anything we accomplished there was the cherry on top. I’m so proud of what this team accomplished.
