The score was knotted at 18 at the half. The Redmen led 33-29 after three quarters. Saints coach Mike Eremich told the Windsor Star that “we went to our big man (Andre Morasutti) in the fourth quarter and he scored six of our points. On top of that, we executed a little more pressure on them and they coughed up the ball a couple of times.” John Stewart led the Redmen with 24.
The Timmins HVS Blues spanked the Owen Sound West Hill Raiders 47-32 after leading 16-12, 27-18 and 39-20 at the quarters. Raiders coach Lorne Johnson told the Owen Sound Sun times that “Timmins was physically more mature, older and stronger than our team.” Paul White led the Raiders with 10. Saints coach Mike Eremic told the Windsor Star that “it was a truly physical ballgame. Because of Eastview’s size, we implemented a fullcourt man-to-man press that created havoc for them but, at the same time, drained us.”

In the bronze medal match, The Tillsonburg Gemini clipped the Tecumseh St. Anne’s Saints 58-47 after leading 28-24 at the half. Steve Simon led the Gemini with 11. Andre Morasutti led the Saints with 12. Dennis Byrne added 11. Saints coach Mike Eremic told the Windsor Star “we were very listless. The semi truly took a lot out of us. It was as though we were just going through the motions.” The Saints (coached by Mike Eremic) also included Mike Shanahan, Dave Reaume, Janisse, Jim Denomme.
