The division was established in 1953 as a part of the provincial tournament (which some still called the Golden Ball Tournament) for schools whose male enrolment under 225 students. It was held in conjunction with the A draw at Ryerson in Toronto and appears to have only been held once.

        In the semis, Belleville Albert defeated South Porcupine 42-28, despite a 15-point effort from Bob Mitchell. South Porcupine also included Pete Gazzola, Dag O’Brien, Ken Moir, John Hicks.

In the other semi, Pembroke nipped South Huron Exeter 55-53.

In the bronze medal match, South Porcupine dispatched South Huron Exeter 41-22 as Bob Mitchell scored 20, Pete Gazzola 8, Doug O’Brien 8, Ken Moir 5 and John Hicks 3.

        In the final, Belleville Albert College defeated Pembroke 53-36. Albert led 10-3 after one quarter and extended its lead to 29-9 at the half and remained in control throughout the contest. The margin was 43-14 after three quarters. Bert Faulkner scored 23 for Belleville. Ross King added 14 and Bruce Vaughan 6. Pembroke was led by Ron Zagel’s 15, Morris Wesanko 6 and Glen Blederman 6.
