In the quarterfinals, the Toronto St. Michael’s Blue Raiders clipped the Hamilton Cathedral Gaels 51-41. The Gaels (coach Dick Tighe) included Frank Cosentino, Red McKeon, Nick Villani, Tom Gallagher, John Fazio, Bob Aitchison, Sutherland, Gary Groleau, Pabst, Wallini, Puppa and Beaudoin.

       The London Catholic Central Crusaders bombed the Kitchener St. Jerome’s Lions 60-31. The Lions included Karl hause, Frank, Lackenbauer, C Hause, Lavigne, Kloepfer, Masi, Herringer, Vogelheim, Jimmy Hause, LaFleur and Schultz.

       The Welland Notre Dame Fighting Irish dispatched Windsor Corpus Christi 61-52 as Steve Kerho scored 27.

       In the last quarterfinal, the Toronto De La Salle Oaklands whipped the St. Thomas St. Joseph’s Rams 68-38.

In the semis, the Toronto St. Michael’s Blue Raiders trounced the Welland Notre Dame Fighting Irish 52-37.

       In the other semi, the Toronto De La Salle Oaklands nipped the London Catholic Central Crusaders 60-57.

       In the final, the Toronto St. Michael’s Blue Raiders captured its third straight title by dumping Toronto De La Salle Oaklands 81-70 as Barry Callaghan and Jim Bruce each scored 20. Joe Balasovic paced De La Salle with 20. Hugh Patterson added 19.
